Spot the difference: Donald Trump or stone carving?

This 700-year-old carving in Nottingham has gained fame recently since its resemblance to the US President was tweeted by a visitor to the church.

The gargoyle which is carved into Southwell Minster was spotted by broadcaster and presenter Samira Ahmed during a visit to the area.

Her tweet captioned "Proof of #endofdays? Donald Trump was carved as a gargoyle in Southwell Minster 700 years ago..." has since been shared over 600 times.

The carving seems to share the president’s trademark hairstyle and is among 280 other strange and comical figures in the cathedral.
