East Midlands Weather: Outbreaks of rain tonight

Tonight:Outbreaks of rain, sometimes heavy, accompanied by breezy conditions, will spread east across the region, most clearing later. Lighter winds, but low cloud and hill fog will follow.

Tuesday:Outbreaks of mainly light rain across eastern areas, chiefly at first. Otherwise dry but cloudy with hill fog, and only limited bright or sunny intervals developing, mainly across the west.

Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:Wednesday cloudy with occasional light rain or drizzle, perhaps some bright spells developing. Thursday and Friday largely cloudy, with a very cold wind, and an increasing chance of snow showers.
