Remembering Graham Taylor: Taking over at Wolves
After four years away from club management as England manager, Graham Taylor returned to the West Midlands in March 1994 when he took over the reins at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
On returning to a newly developed Molineux, he swiftly signed two players he had worked with at Aston Villa - Tony Daly and Steve Froggatt.
See what he had to say to fans when he was appointed.
His first full season proved a successful one for Wolves, as Taylor led them to a fourth place finish in the second division, their highest league position in a decade.
It meant a place in the playoffs - but they lost out to Bolton Wanderers and squandered their chance at promotion. For former players such as Steve Froggatt, it was a real opportunity missed.
Despite Wolves being one of the favourites for promotion, the 1995/1996 season proved disastrous for Graham Taylor.
After managing just four wins in 16 fixtures, he resigned on 13 November 1995, bringing his second stint in the West Midlands to an end.
