The Muslim Council of Britain has today condemned the Executive Order by US President Trump to initiate a ban on people from a select few Muslim majority countries.

They called on the government to express in 'no uncertain terms' how daft they believe the policy is to its US counterparts, and asked them to press home how counter-productive it is in its professed fight to confront terrorism.
Downing Street have said "immigration policy in the United States is a matter for the government of the United States" but the PM does "not agree with this kind of approach".
Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said "It is the governments aim to protect the rights and freedoms of UK nationals at home and abroad."
