Reward offered after swan shot through the head with a cross bow
A £3,000 reward is being offered for information after a swan was shot with a crossbow - leaving it blinded and fighting for its life.
George is currently being treated at the Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre, where vets said his injuries were among the most distressing they have ever seen.
He was found shot in in Cheltenham's Pittville Park on Tuesday (24th January) and is beginning to show signs of improvement.
More than £5,000 has so far been donated by over 200 people towards its care at the centre.
