Appeal after puppy abandoned in phone box
The RSPCA is appealing for information after a puppy was abandoned inside a phone box in Birmingham.
The one-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier was found chained up inside the phone box in Quinton Road West, Quinton, on 17 January.
The puppy has since been named Clark, after Superman alias Clark Kent, who famously emerged from phone boxes as the legendary superhero.
Clark has now been given a new Superman collar.
A shocked member of the public was alerted to Clark’s plight after hearing whimpering from inside the phone box. They took the pup back home, and called the RSPCA.
