The University of Wolverhampton pays tribute to Rachael Heyhoe Flint
The University of Wolverhampton has paid tribute to Baroness Heyhoe Flint who died yesterday.
Rachael Heyhoe Flint captained England’s women’s cricket team between 1966 and 1978 and was a Vice- President at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
She was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the University in 2002 for her contribution to sport and was granted the freedom of Wolverhampton in 2011.
