Scorpion found in Amazon delivery

A man from Kidderminster claims he found a scorpion inside the packaging of a rucksack he purchased from online retailer Amazon.

Matthew Strange unpacked his new bag ready for work the next morning - but it was his fiancée Natasha who found the scorpion as she was about to take the box outside for recycling.

The couple are particularly concerned that the scorpion could have fallen onto the carpet, as they have a one-year-old child.

ITV Central has also made contact with Amazon who told us they have apologised to the customer and are investigating.
