Council plans to clamp down on 'dangerous parking' on the school run
Plans to stop dangerous and inconsiderate parking during the school run are being considered by Leicester City Council.
They are looking at a range of measures including installing bollards or railings to prevent people mounting pavements.
Enforcement officers will issue tickets to offenders and encourage more children to walk to school.
Officials are working with 10 schools with a plan that could cost more than £2million. School size, incident records, and existing traffic calming measures were all considered as they drew up their list.
