Birmingham's Chinese community gets own police officer
Birmingham's Chinese community is set to benefit from having its own liaison police officer to make sure they feel they can communicate with West Midlands Police.
The role was originally set up two decades ago, but didn't last. However, with more Chinese people visiting and living in Birmingham, it's been brought back.

More Chinese businesses are investing in Birmingham, with more students and visitors also being recorded. Community representatives say they're glad the police have resurrected the role to reflect these changes.
It's hoped that members of the Chinese community in the city will feel they have a point of contact within the force to report crime and local concerns.
