Loaded gun found in high street store

A loaded gun has been found stashed in a toilet roll holder at a popular highstreet department store.

The deadly weapon had been concealed in the men's lavatory at House of Fraser on Corporation Street, Birmingham.

It was uncovered by a member of staff shortly before 7pm on Monday, WestMidlands Police said. The force said the gun has been made safe and is being forensically examined.

Detectives are currently scouring CCTV and have appealed for information from the public.A House of Fraser spokesman said:
