Notts County Ladies player in sexism claim

Notts County Ladies midfielder Josanne Potter has accused a ticket vendor of being sexist after she was asked if she realised she was buying tickets to a men's game.

The England Women's international took to twitter to vent her frustration, when collecting tickets for a match at Nuneaton Town in Warwickshire.

Claiming she was told "you do realise this is a men's game don't you?" by the ticket vendor, commenting "sexism at it's finest".

The club responded to the claims with a statement on its official website:
