Ministry of Justice statement after prisoner absconds
A man jailed for 15 years for his membership of a drug-dealing network has failed to return to prison - after being released on temporary licence for Christmas Day.
Following the announcement, the MOJ said:
Blake Donnellan, 31, was being detained at HMP Sudbury in Derbyshire after being convicted of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.
Derbyshire Police said Donnellan was released for the day on December 25 but did not return to the open prison and was unlawfully at large.
Donnellan is white, 6ft, and of medium build. He has brown eyes, short dark hair and speaks with a Manchester accent.
His last known address was in Bude, Cornwall, but he has links to Plymouth and Manchester.
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to call Derbyshire police.
