Madeleine's parents face another Christmas of 'pain and longing'

The parents of missing Madeleine McCann have said their tenth Christmas without her will be "inevitably tinged with pain and longing".

May will mark ten years since Madeleine disappeared from the family's rented apartment during their holiday in Praia da Luz in Portugal.

The couple thanked all those who had continued to support them in the search for their daughter.
