Investigation launched after body found at a house in Derby

An investigation has been launched into the death of a man whose body was found at an address in Mackworth.

Police were called to a property in Marylebone Crescent on Thursday afternoon, over concerns for the safety of a man inside.

The body of a man believed to be in his late 50s was found at the house a short time later and a police cordon at the property remains in place.

The death is being treated as suspicious and an investigation is continuing.
