A body of a homeless man found
The body of a homeless man has been found behind a pub in Birmingham city centre.
Police were called to an area behind the Victoria pub, in John Bright Street, at 11.30pm last night, as Britain braced itself for the coldest November day in six years.
The man was found in a doorway near the NCP car park at the junction with Station Road.
The man, who is believed to have been aged 30, was declared dead at the scene.
Police have said they do not believe the circumstances of the man’s death to be suspicious and suggested it was connected to drugs.
A section of John Bright Street remains cordoned off.
