Baby rabbits dumped on doorstep
Four baby rabbits are looking for new homes after being dumped on the doorstep of a Rugeley home.
The bunnies - three males and one female and all around five weeks old, were found at the front door of a house in Curzon Place on Friday evening (25 November).
They had been placed in two cat carriers.
RSPCA inspector Nicola Johnson, who is investigating, said they could have been there for hours.
The rabbits, who have been named Elmo, Ernie, Walter and Dory have all been treated for being underweight.
They are now being cared for at the RSPCA’s Burton branch.
Anyone with information about how the rabbits came to be dumped should contact the RSPCA.
