Supermoon in the Midlands: Your Pictures

Stargazers are seeing the biggest and brightest "supermoon" in the sky in living memory tonight. It is closer to earth than it has been for 69 years.

The full lunar disc appears 14% bigger and up to 30% brighter than usual in an event that Nasa has described as "undeniably beautiful".
