Police appeal for witnesses after attack on man in his own home
The attack happened on Saturday, October 15 after 9pm at an address in Windsor Road, Uttoxeter. A 52-year-old occupant approached three unknown men after disturbing them in the rear yard of his property.
The men, who had their faces covered, assaulted the man in his yard leaving him with serious injuries to his chest and face which are considered to be life threatening. He remains in a stable condition in Queen's Medical Centre Nottingham.
A second man who also lives at the address, was assaulted as the attackers entered the home. They also stole a cross bow and keys.
The 48-year old suffered minor injuries, but did not require medical treatment.
