Possible Banksy artwork spotted in Birmingham
A mother and son have stumbled upon a mural that looks similar to the past works of artist Banksy.
Debbie Curtis and her eight-year-old son Michael were running late to see a film so decided to take a shortcut through the back streets in Sutton Coldfield.
That’s where they stumbled upon the image of a little boy releasing a dove with an olive branch in its mouth.
Debbie Curtis said her son is loves art:
Debbie and Michael have taken trains all over the country, with Michael paying a keen interest in the grafitti artwork he sees out of the window.
As soon as they got home, Debbie looked up Banksy on the internet and became convinced that the little boy and the dove is an original by the artist.
Michael believed the touching image has a heartwarming message.
But were the couple seeing double? The same image was spotted two years ago by passer-by 22-year-old Thomas Beamond in a secluded car park in the area.
