Man hospitalised after McDonalds stabbing in Birmingham
A man was rushed to hospital on Saturday night after being stabbed in a McDonalds restaurant in Birmingham.
The victim was knifed in the Chester Road branch, near the Yenton pub on the outskirts of Erdington at around 8.15pm on Saturday.
The 20-year-old was rushed to hospital but his injuries were not said to be life-threatening. He was discharged from hospital the following day.
No-one has yet been arrested in connection with the attack but it was believed the two offenders were known to the victim.
There has been a series of violent incidents in the Midlands over the last week, including four stabbings and a shooting in just 24 hours in and around Birmingham.
On Saturday night, an 18-year-old was stabbed in Walsall.
Meanwhile, on Monday night a 21-year-old was left fighting for his life after he was repeatedly stabbed in Raddlebarn Road in Selly Oak.
