An man from Birmingham has been jailed for abusing five girls one year after his son was imprisoned for sex attacks on young boys.
57-year-old Alan Goodwin, from Tile Cross, was sentenced to 19 and a half years after being convicted of carrying out the sexual assaults at his home.
The city crown court heard Goodwin targeted five girls between the ages of 10 and 14 in offences dating back 15 years.
His son Wayne, 32, was jailed last September after being convicted of multiple sex attacks on young boys, including two counts of rape.
The fairground worker, from Stechford, was sentenced to 15 years for the abuse. The father and son carried out the child sex attacks independently of each other.
During the court case, Alan Goodwin's victims gave evidence, recalling how the married man would groom them before abusing them at his home.
One victim vomited as she recounted the attacks to the jury.
The mum of one of the victims spoke after the case. Her daughter was 10-years-old when she was targeted and was abused until she was 14.
The mum said:
