'Killer clown' found lurking behind drive-thru as craze sweeps through region
The craze of people dressing up as ‘killer clowns’ has led to more terrifying incidents across the region.
The first image has emerged of a menacing clown lurking in bushes in Shard End, in the city, late on Sunday night.
It becomes the latest report in the region after unconfirmed reports of similar incidents in Evesham, Worcester, and Droitwich.
Luke, 21, took the picture outside shops on Shard End Crescent at 10.35pm, before fleeing.
There have been other shocking incidences in the city over the weekend, leading for pleas for the craze to stop before someone is hurt.
A chilling image was posted on Facebook at the weekend reportedly showing a creepy joker hiding behind a sign, ready to scare drivers as they pass through McDonald’s in Kidderminster.
Horrified parents shared the McDonald’s photo on social media in a bid to warn others.
Gloucester Police have issued a ‘killer clown’ warning after they received several reports of people dressed as clowns carrying knives and chasing children.
The ‘killer clowns’ started in the US with people dressing up in scary masks and costumers to frighten children and people by jumping out and stopping them in their tracks.
