Man charged with firearm offences
A 21-year-old man has been charged with two offences involving an imitation firearm.
It follows an incident in the Pickersleigh Road area of Malvern on 5 October where a man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
On 6 October, Emran Hussain of Bluebell Close, Malvern was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He was remanded in custody and is appearing at Worcester Magistrates' today (Friday 7 October).
In addition, a 24-year-old man from Malvern, was arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been released on police bail until 17 November. A 25-year-old man from Malvern was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released on police bail until 3 November.
