'Stolen' puppy found through power of social media

A puppy believed to have been stolen from a house in East Haddon in Daventry has been found safe and well at an address in Northampton and returned home.

Poppy, a six-month-old Cocker Spaniel, went missing from her home on the afternoon of Wednesday 21 September.

Information from social media posts led police to the address in Northampton yesterday. Poppy was returned home last night.

An investigation into her disappearance is on-going and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have any information about the incident.
