Flying Scotsman steams into Kidderminster

The nation's best loved steam engine the Flying Scotsman has arrived at Kidderminster for her first run this morning.

The world famous locomotive set off from Bewdley and arrived at Kidderminster this morning where passengers will board the train.

It's part of a five-day event at the Severn Valley Railway. Pacific Power also features another famous engine, the newly built Tornado. The duo are expected to draw in large crowds.

Flying Scotsman was credited in the record books as being the first steam loco to officially reach the speed of 100 miles per hour. It gained worldwide fame after making trips to America and Australia.
