'Ongoing incident' at Lincoln prison
Police are said to be dealing with an ongoing disturbance at a men's jail in Lincolnshire.
Officers were sent down to HM Prison Lincoln at 9.45am this morning after an incident began in one of the wings.
Despite all prisoners currently being in their cells, the situation is said tobe ongoing.
It's understood no hostages were taken at the site and there was not a riot.
Neither prison officers nor prisoners have been injured during the disruption.
A Ministry of Justice Spokesperson said:
"Staff are working to resolve an ongoing incident at HMP Lincoln. All prisoners are currently in their cells."
