Midlands Paralympians to watch: Wednesday 14th September

Great Britain's flag bearer Lee Pearson from Staffordshire, takes his Paralympics bow in the dressage. He competes in the Grade lb individual championship test, with the event beginning at 18:00. He won a silver medal in this event at London 2012.

Mel Nichols from Worcester and Coventry's Kare Adenegan are both in the final of the T33/34 400m. Kare won a silver in the 100m but Britian's Hannah Cockroft is a heavy favourite in this event. The final starts at 21:40.

Claire Cashmore is in the SB8 100m breaststroke. The swimmer from Redditch has won six Paralympic medals but is chasing that illustrious gold. Her heats begin at 13:30, with the final taking place at 21:35.

Sophie Wells from Lincoln competes in the Grade IV individual championship test in the dressage. She begins her event at 14:00.In the final day of shooting, Matt Skelhon from Peterborough goes in the 50m rifle event. Qualification begins at 13:30, with the final at 15:45.
