Top 5 Nicklas Bendtner gaffes ...
Nottingham Forest's new signing is a bit of a loose cannon, to say the least.
However, excitement is building at the City Ground after striker Nicklas Bendtner agreed a 2-year deal.
'Lord Bendtner' as he is known to many fans, has developed a cult following among football supporters due to his behaviour both on and off the pitch.
Se we took a look at some of the former Arsenal striker's greatest (or most hilarious) moments ...
1. Nightclub Antics
After Arsenal were dumped out of Europe a few seasons ago, Bendtner decided the best way to celebrate was to be pictured by photographers stumbling out of a nightclub, allegedly with his trousers hanging down...
2. Juventus Loan
With his Arsenal career flagging, it seemed a surprise to some when Bendtner managed to seal a loan deal to Italian giants Juventus in 2012. He failed to score a single league goal during his spell in Turin, but still celebrated 'John Terry style' when the club sealed the Serie A title, despite contributing barely anything.
3. His Arsenal Swansong
Bendtner did actually make a highly important contribution for Arsenal in his final appearance for the Gunners, with a game-winner against Cardiff City. But in typical Bendtner fashion, his hero status was cut short, suffering an ankle injury as he landed awkwardly as the ball hit the back of net. He was quickly subbed off and never seen in an Arsenal shirt again.
4. That 'Underwear Celebration'
At Euro 2012, after netting a brace for Denmark, Bendtner pulled down his shorts to celebrate, resulting in a one-match ban and an £80,000 fine.
5. That 'car incident'
In Copenhagen Bendtner was charged for allegedly drunkenly threatening a man in a car, before removing his trousers and rubbing his genitals against the windscreen, leaving the occupant terrified.
Not to mention also being fined by his last club, German side Wolfsburg for sleeping through his alarm and missing training.
Or his countless quotes, with a clear self belief in his own abilities ...
However, most football fans just seem to be happy to see the 'Lord' return to the English leagues ...
