Boy injured after becoming 'trapped' on baggage belt
A young boy suffered arm and leg injuries after becoming 'trapped' on a baggage belt in the arrival halls of Birmingham Airport.
The child was carried along the belt until he was freed by his father on Sunday afternoon (4 September) in the baggage reclaims area.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it had been called to reports of a young boy trapped on a luggage conveyor belt at Birmingham Airport shortly before 4.30pm.
An ambulance, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford and a Community First Responder were sent to the scene.
