Leicester's annual Pride festival takes place in the city centre later, with thousands of revellers set to attend.

A colourful parade will weave through the city centre from midday before heading on to Victoria Park, where there will be live music and performances.

Rainbow flags will be flown outside of Leicester's City Hall and Town Hall Square as full festivities get underway.

The festival, which is part funded by the city council, will also feature a range of market stalls providing health and wellbeing information for the community.
