Venues across Leicestershire to screen Kayleigh Haywood film
A film based on the life and death of a teenager from Measham who was raped and murdered last year is to be screened in venues across Leicestershire.
The film, which dramatises the last two weeks of Kayleigh Haywood's life, is being screened at eight venues in Leicestershire and Rutland over the coming month.
Kayleigh's Love Story has been produced by Leicestershire Police to warn parents and children about the dangers of online grooming.
The 15-year-old from Measham was groomed online by Luke Harlow - a man she'd never met - before she was killed.
Harlow, 28, was jailed for 12 years for grooming, sexually assaulting and falsely imprisoning Kayleigh.
While Stephen Beadman, 29, was jailed for 35 years for raping and murdering the teenager, along with falsely imprisoning her.
