Team GB land in UK after 'best ever' Olympic Games for more than 100 years

Team GB have arrived back in the UK from Rio following their best Olympic Games for more than a century.

A Boeing 747 carrying 320 athletes and support staff landed at Heathrow airport just before 10am this morning.

As the plane touched down in London some of the athletes who train and live in the Midlands have been busy tweeting.

Team GB's success saw their biggest medal haul in 100 years with 27 golds, 23 silvers and 17 bronzes.
