Staffordshire has won more Olympic golds than Brazil, Germany, Spain or Canada
Last night Staffordshire's Joe Clarke won Great Britain's second gold medal in the final of the Canoe Slalom K1.
The 23 year-old not only won Britain's first Olympic medal in the men's K1 since Campbell Walsh at Athens 2004, but secured also gold in a time of 88.53 seconds.
The second big win for Team GB led many to take to Twitter congratulating Joe, and suggesting Staffordshire is in a league of it's own.
