Nottinghamshire's annual Pride festival will be taking place in Nottingham city centre, with hundreds expected to join and show their support.

Parade-goers will hold a minute's silence to remember the victims of the terrorist attack on a gay nightclub in Orlando in June which left 49 people dead.

Members of the emergency services and Nottinghamshire County Council employees will be among those taking part in the march.

The Council will also be providing information about services including same-sex marriage and LGBT youth services through a stall on Heathcote Street.
