A five-year-old boy has been injured after a skipping rope 'strangling' incident at his school.

Jed Ward was left with cuts and bruising after the incident at Castle Bromwich Infant School last Thursday. He was taken to A&E at Heartlands Hospital.

His parents claim another young boy strangled him with the skipping rope, but the school say it was an accident.
