An inquest is expected to open today in to the deaths of five men at a recycling plant in Birmingham.

The five victims who were Spanish nationals of Gambian descent were crushed to death after a wall collapsed at the Hawkeswood Metal site in the Nechells area on July 7th.

Nearly £22,000 has been raised for the victims families. The families of the five men are facing bills of around £5,000 each to repatriate their bodies.
