A customer services advisor at Asda in Wolverhampton is skipping down theaisles after bagging a £1,000,000 EuroMillions Millionaire Maker prize in the draw on 7 June, 2016.

Amanda Lewis (49) from Featherstone, said: “I had worked later than normal, covering a couple of colleagues’ breaks, and needed a few groceries.

I was £2.60 in credit having won £2 on a previous Lotterydraw and decided to cash it in for another ticket and have the 60p in change. I had a Lucky Dip and didn’t think about it anymore until the next day.”

Amanda briefly checked her numbers the next day and completely forgot about the Millionaire Maker code.

She said: "I asked the lady at the Lottery kiosk to check my numbers. When she started to smile I went a bit weak at the knees."
