Alison Williamson won a silver medal in the Much Wenlock version of the Olympic Games when she was ten.

She competed at her first Olympics in 1992 in Barcelona and took part in the next five games.

Her biggest achievement came in Athens when she won an Olympic Bronze medal in the Women's individual event in 2004.

In 2012, Alison was awarded with an MBE for her services to archery.
