Shakespeare's will returns to Stratford-upon-Avon 400 years after it was written

One of the most important original documents relating to William Shakespeare is set to return to his hometown for the very first time since it was written 400 years ago.

William Shakespeare’s last will and testament will be making its way back to Stratford-upon-Avon this summer for the very first time since it was written in March 1616.

It will be loaned to The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust from 16 July – 4 August as part of a major exhibition celebrating 400 years of Shakespeare’s legacy.
