Jason Parnell confirmed dead after Thailand boat accident

Jason Parnell has been confirmed as deceased by the Foreign Office in a boat accident in Thailand.

Authorities had been searching for Mr Parnell, 46, since the incident on Thursday, when a huge wave capsized the boat off the coast of the island of Ko Samui.

They were also able to confirm that the names of those that died are Monica O’Connor and Jason Parnell.

Both families have asked for privacy at this difficult time.

Mr Parnell's wife has also taken to Facebook to ask everyone to give her "space" at this time.
