Cafe sells monster milkshake containing 2,000 calories
A milkshake which has eight days worth of sugar in it, and contains around 2,000 calories, is being sold at a Birmingham café.
That is a woman’s recommended daily amount for an entire day in just one dessert.
Because The Legend, created by the city’s Eis Café, comprises:
Chocolate Milkshake (made with ice cream): 450 calories
Krispy Kreme (Chocolate): 240 calories
Krispy Kreme (Strawberry & Kreme): 323 calories
Nutella: 500 calories
Chocolate chip cookies: 240 calories
Chocolate chips: 150 calories
Butter waffles: 200 calories
Home-made vanilla whipped cream: 200 calories
That is 2,213 calories in total.
The recommended daily intake for women is no more than 2,000 calories, while for men it is no more than 2,500.
The shake is being served up at the Coventry Road, Small Heath, café and was invented by owner Rafik Bousouab.
They also do a Rainbow shake packed with 2,130 calories, boasting jelly beans, bubblegum milkshake, strawberry marshmallow and more.
