Thousands of people are expected to line the streets of Burton today (14 May) to celebrate their football team's historic promotion to the Championship.

The Burton Albion players will be taking an open top bus tour around the town with the League One runners-up trophy.

The Brewers secured promotion to the second tier of English football at Doncaster last Sunday.

Pirell Stadium - Derby Road-Station Street-Union Street - New Street-High Street-Wetmore Road - Wharf Road-Hawkins Lane - Pirelli Stadium.

The key vantage points will be New Street, the Market Place, High Street and the Pirelli Stadium.
