Paddy Tipping - Labour Candidate - Nottinghamshire PCC
Paddy Tipping was the first Police & Crime Commissioner for Nottinghamshire and was elected in the original tranche of Commissioners in November 2012. Previous to that he served as MP for Sherwood between 1992 and 2010. He briefly held the position of Deputy Leader of the House of Commons for 3 months in 2007. From 1981 to 1993 he was a Nottinghamshire County Councillor.

Jason Zadrozny - Independent Candidate - Nottinghamshire PCC
Jason Zadrozny was born and bred in Sutton-in-Ashfield. He studied theatre and drama at college and went on to work as an actor in theatre and on the television. He developed an interest in politics through community work and joined the Liberal Democrats. He is currently an independent councillor on Ashfield District and Nottinghamshire County councils. He stood for the Liberal Democrats in Ashfield in the 2010 general election, and was selected to fight the same seat in 2015, but didn't end up standing.
