David Sprason is a former Conservative Deputy Leader of Leicestershire County Council, but was sacked by the party in January 2013. He now sits on the County Council as UKIP Councillor for the Hinckley & Bosworth District. He was the parliamentary candidate for UKIP and stood to become MP for Bosworth in the 2015 General Election.
