Teenage girl off to Download Festival after appeal goes viral
A teenage girl who was told by her father she would only be allowed to go to Download Festival if a Facebook post achieved 10,000 'likes' has spoken of her shock after her appeal to the public went viral.
Becky Rimmington-Jones begged her father to go to the festival, asking him if she could go if a Facebook post racked up more than 250 likes.

"Try it. If it goes viral you win, if not you lose", he said in a text message.
Becky posted a screenshot of the text message conversation with her father on Facebook, saying: "I will cry if this even gets more than 100 (likes). I've been wanting to go to download for so long".
To her surprise, it did go viral - with more than 27,000 people 'liking' the post.
