Thieves arrested after police chase stolen bus
Three thieves are in policy custody after leading officers on a chase after stealing a bus.
The single-decker vehicle was reported stolen from a yard in The Paddock in Coseley just after 9.40pm on Wednesday.
It was spotted more than 10 miles (16km) away on the A41 in Albrighton in Shropshire at 2.50am on Thursday.
A stinger, which is a device designed to puncture tyres and slow a vehicle down, was deployed to bring the bus to a stop in Foundry Street in Coseley in the early hours, West Midlands Police said.
A force spokesman added that three men were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and remain in police custody.
Two of the men are aged 20 and 39 and the third has refused to give his details.
