The warrant was carried out in the Meir area of the city on Saturday 5 March. Officers also seized suspected cannabis, cash and a number of mobile phones as part of their investigation.

A 24-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply charges and remains on bail while inquiries continue.

A further man, a 19-year-old, also from Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on Wednesday 16 March at another address in Meir. He too is suspected of being involved in the supply of monkey dust after a quantity of the suspected drug was seized from his home. He also remains on bail pending further inquiries.
