Leicester Riders secure second biggest win of season

Leicester Riders are still in the running for the British Basketball League (BBL) Championship title after securing their second biggest win of the season last night.

They beat Bristol Flyers 90-52 to make it six league wins in a row.

It was a record win for the side against Bristol and their second biggest win of this campaign so far. Trevor Gruis led the way, scoring 18 points, while Shane Walker hit all three of his three-point attempts on his way to 16 points.

The Riders now sit second in the table with 46 points, just 2 points behind leaders Esh Group Eagles Newcastle.
