Investigation after two bodies found in car in Wolverhampton

Detectives have launched an inquiry after two bodies were found in a car near a National Grid electricity transmission site.

West Midlands Police said officers are attempting to trace next-of-kin afterthe bodies, which have yet to be formally identified, were found at the rear of a social club in the Bushbury area of Wolverhampton.

A dog was removed from the car after the bodies were discovered at about12.30pm.

The manager of the National Grid site, which covers several acres, said he had been asked not to speak to the media by police investigating the deaths.

The car is understood to have been found at the rear of a building used by both Bushbury Grid Social Club and the Greenfield Golf Club.
